I am going to write this post in English so that my hang around Kalles wife Kerry can read it, ( I hope everyones will  excuse my crappy english)
On the first pic on the left we are about to leave Phuket after the first night there, I spent a few hours on Phuket Bike-week where they had a bikeshow and  some stands if you want to buy leatherjackets or wallets or maybe a helmet or T-shirt. I bought.....nothing (will probably surprise Lena).
We planned our trip for a few weeks but the only thing we new when we started was that the first stop was Koh Samui, we didn´t even have some maps or a GPS (we bought some maps in 7/11, didn´t help much as they only had Thainames on the map though).

The first stop was a waterfall on the way to Khao Lak, It wasn´t to much water in the river but enough to wash our armpits that started to smell after 10 minutes, like on all real bikers.

Had Kalle to translate the sign above but after trying for an hour we had to leave. If anyone can help us please do.

Lunch on the beach in Khao Lak, Kalle is having a strange look on his face after consuming 550 grams of Squid and Prawns thinking it was chicken
 (he´s allergic),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,nah just kidding.
That´s the way he looks.
How is that saying ? "Only a mother can ........."

After passing some really beautiful countryside on the way from Khao Lak to the ferry to Koh Samui we stopped at a cave where we saw a lot of people having a party or something. Pictures above.
Kalle talked (sort of) to some people and they where very proud to show us what they had in the oven. We looked into it and saw somebody's grandpa or grandma in there. That was a new experience. As it was almost as hot outside as it was in the furnace so we jumped on the bikes and headed for the ferry.

We really liked Koh Samui, really nice beaches , a lot of things to do and not the party island we have heard about, there wash´t even much people on the island. On the day we arrived they started to celebrate "Song Kran" which ( one day in advance) is the Buddhist New Year" which Lena mentioned in her last post. I´ll bet it was a bit wilder here than on Koh Lanta but it was still very very nice, everybody was happy and even happier when we stopped so that they could pore buckets of water over us and paint our faces with chalk.
Kalle nagged about some culture so we visited the Big Buddha also, pics below. Also some more wet "Song Kran-pics" below.

Well marinated Aussiesteak.

Equally well marinated Swedish meatballs.

Next stop after Koh Samui was Nakhun Sri Tammarat, if you ask Kalle he never remember the name, try it Kerry.
We slept there one night after spending real Song Kran with a bunch of hose-holding hugging youngsters getting all wet again. The morning after "Culture-Kalle" dragged me to another tempel, this one was really nice actually, 1600 years old
( my age Kalle said) with 142 kilos of gold on the top. (afterwords we heard that this town is called murdertown  if you want a contractkilling you should go here and if you aren´t nice to people they kill you. Luckily we didn´t know that, otherwise we would´t have hitchhiked with the nastiest looking hoodlum in the town)

Waiting for Kalle outside a gasstation..

Picture
...at the station a really skinny dog caught my attention,
I bought him a pack of friends, hotdogs .
Hope someone else will continue to feed him. Otherwise Lena probably has to go there or make me go.

Picture
We had lunch in Pattalung but the only pic from there was Karls from the Trainstation

Picture
Passing Hat Yai and Songklan at the east coast we went to Satun on the west for the night. Had a really nice evening with dinner and some pool and darts. I humiliated Karl in both. Woke up in the middle of the night from big explosions outside, didn´t see anything through the window though , we fell asleep after a few minutes.

We had plans to cross the Malaysian border but that would have messed up my VISA giving me only 15 days coming back to Thailand, not sufficient when we leave at 15:th of May. Kalle was grumpy for 5 minutes but then he was happy-Kalle again. Next stop was Ao Nang to spend the night there.

We decided to go to one of the many caves in Thailand, we picked one where you paddled on a river and through the cave.

There is one thing about roadsigns in Thailand, it seems like they randomly put the distance on every sign , if it says 38 km`s on the first one next one might be 62 km`s. That made the trip to the cave a little longer than we thought. It was well worth the effort though.
Pics on the left (many of them so wait for them to change)
This was the towns we passed on the way.
PHUKET-KHAO LAK-SURATHANI-KOH SAMUI-NAKHON SRI TAMMARAT-PATTALONG-HAT YAI-SONGKLA-SATUN-TRANG-KRABI-AO NANG and the Phuket again.

Thank you Kerry for lending me your husband we had a wonderful time but next time we want to see you,Holly and Kajsa also.
Thank YOU Kalle for taking time to travel all the way here to make the roadtrip with me . It was a true pleasure !!!!!
